A toddler is plucked ALIVE from underneath rubble in remarkable new footage to emerge from Syria tonight.

The little lad is completely buried beneath rock and dust as the eight-minute video begins.

But a group of men rush to clear it away after apparently hearing the boy's cries.

One of his arms is first to emerge through the rubble and as more rock is moved away his head comes into view.

Minutes later the toddler is dragged completely free and despite appearing to look dazed appears alive and well.

The incredible film, uploaded to YouTube by Syrian activists, was understood to have been taken in a rebel-held district of Alepp 24 hours after air strikes were reported in the city.

Senator Magnus Abe Attacked By Police Moved To London For Treatment

A Rivers State senator who was reportedly shot with a rubber bullet and teargas cannisters earlier today  by the Nigerian police in the state is on his way to London for further treatment according to sources in the state.

Senator Magnus Abe was hospitalized earlier today when policemen disrupting a peaceful rally organized by the opposition members in state shot at him with teargas and rubber bullets.

His doctor claimed that the senator’s chest was hit with an object that might have caused internal bleeding therefore necessitating his transfer to the UK for better medical care.

The police in the state however deny that its members hot the Senator, they instead that minimum force was applied in dispersing rally goers at the state’s College of Arts and Sciences because they did not obtain police permit before the gathering.

Miracle Pastor Sign Fireman, Turns His Bail Into Money-Spinning Prayer Point in Church

Alleged ritual offender and spoof miracle churner,  Pastor Ofuche Ukoha (also known as) "Sign Fireman", today at his church in Aguda inspired other stooge pastors to extort money from his congregation using his police bail on Saturday in a ritual case as a tool.

Pastor Fireman was reportedly released on bail by the police on Saturday.

His church, Perfect Christian Mission, in Surulere, Lagos, was agog as his members shared testimonies about his release. The testifiers said they believed that news of Pastor Fireman’s ritual offense was God’s way of advertising the church to attract more worshipers.

Each member’s testimony was then turned into an avenue to collects offering.

After one particular testimony praising the Pastor-anchor of the testimony segment said; “God will use your shame to announce you. If you want that to be your portion, come forward now with your special seed.”

The motivated congregation shoved their way to the altar, tossing notes at feet of the anchor.

Pastor Fireman himself did not preach. Instead, he introduced an unschooled man he described as ‘Apostle Paul’ whom he claimed had ministered “everywhere in the world.”  He said he had brought the uneducated man to minister in order to show that unschooled persons “can also be raised by God”.

Fireman then promised, to the audience's roars of "Amen," that regardless of their academic deficiencies, the church members would be favored with positions without merit or qualifications. Throughout his preaching, the Apostle asked for money for every story he told.

Towards end of the session, the Apostle told an anecdote of how he became the pillar of finance in his own family, after he only "sowed seed" of N150,000 in another church. He touched three different poles in the church and called out to the congregation to pay the sums of N100,000; N30,000 and N10,000 to touch the respective poles with him so that they could become pillars of finance in their own families as well.

Naomi suffered horrific burns when she was attacked by a woman wearing a veil on her way home from work at Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford, east London, on December 30 2012.

Her face, arms, chest and thigh suffered blistering burns and she had to undergo a series of gruelling skin graft operations.

Miss Oni sobbed as she told the court she thought someone was trying to kill her when the acid was thrown over her face.

She only noticed a 'presence' following her as she turned into the road where the attack took place, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

Giving evidence she said: 'I turned to my left and there I saw someone in black attire, a black niqab.

'I remember it facing me and staring directly looking at me.

'It was long and black and covered and I could only see the eyes - the face wasn't visible.

'I remember the reflection of the eyes, I remember them being bright and I could see them strongly.'

Asked if she knew the person had been following her from Stratford, Ms Oni replied: 'Not at all.'

Outrage Over P-Square Brother’s Gun Threat On Internet

It came as a rude shock to many followers of Jude Okoye, music video director and senior brother to music superstar, P-Square, when he posted his picture with three pistols and some bullets on the internet last night Monday, 6 January.

Jude, also known as Engees, seemingly trying to act like a gangster, unabashedly posted the offensive picture with a message on the microblogging site with a handle @judeengees:  “F..k with me cos u know I got ‘em.”

The post which has attracted over 230 likes by this morning, also has many commentators chiding Jude, who ought to be a role model rather engaging in brazen display of such shameful act.

And Zaraolisa's blog observed that hours after many pleaded with him to take down the offensive post, Jude remained adamant as he left the picture that keeps attracting comments both negative and otherwise.

US University Says It Did Not Award MBA To Stella Oduah As It Has No Masters Programme

Stella Oduah, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation who is embroiled in a scandal of towering proportions in the ministry, faces new integrity questions as her Masters’ degree has been challenged by the United States school which supposedly awarded it.

Her resume, which she presented to the Senate as a ministerial nominee in 2011, indicated she obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville, Virginia, United States.

But SaharaReporters has learned from the President of the college that it has never in its 125-year history had a graduate school or graduate program.

The Provost Vice President of Academic Affairs, and the Vice President of Institutional Development said in response to our inquiries, “We don’t offer any graduate programs here.”

Similarly, the school’s website states: “Saint Paul's College is accredited by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate [bachelor’s] degrees.”  There is no mention of graduate degrees.

The Minister’s documentation shows she received an undergraduate degree in accounting from the college in 1982, but Dr. Claud Flythe, St. Paul’s current president, could neither confirm nor deny this during a phone conversation with SaharaReporters.  Further verification with the Office of Alumni Affairs is also currently impossible, the school said, because the college has been closed since June 2013 to loss of its accreditation.

“[Oduah] realized very early in life the indispensability of a sound education in her growth plans in life and therefore pursued her education with all diligence and sense of purpose,” her documents claimed, adding that a determination “to have the best education at the highest level” prompted her stay at the Virginia college in 1983 for the MBA programme.

As her public relations machinery marched on, in December 2012 The Sun newspaper published an article headlined “Stella Oduah: An Amazon of transformation,” which lauded her “MBA from St Paul’s College, Lawrenceville Virginia USA.”  The story also praised her for being an official who brought her “rich educational background to bear on the aviation sector by automating revenue centers in all the agencies and parastatals to boost their revenue profile and enhance transparency and accountability in the system.”

In October, SaharaReporters broke the story that Mrs. Oduah, a former campaign manager for President Goodluck Jonathan, purchased two bulletproof BMW cars worth $ 1.6 Million (N255m) through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, for her own use.  

Following an investigation, the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation dismissed the Minister’s pleas of innocence and all her rebuttals during her testimony.  The committee’s report, which was subsequently adopted by the House, declared that no budgetary appropriation had been made for the purchase of the cars, and that the NCAA proposal for their purchase was rejected.

President Jonathan also set up a three-member administrative panel to investigate the matter, but he immediately travelled out of the country with Mrs. Oduah and Colonel Dasuki, the National Security Adviser who was to serve as a member of the panel.  Not only did the panel submit its report much later than the two weeks it was given for the assignment, Mr. Jonathan has refused to release its report.  

Mrs. Oduah’s new certificate questions are certain to feed into national concern about her credibility as an elected official, but also about Mr. Jonathan’s credibility, and about the nation’s security apparatus which verifies official documents offered to the Senate for official nominations.  

If Mrs. Oduah deliberately deceived the Senate, it remains to be seen if the Upper House will be sufficiently motivated to take up the matter with the Executive.  

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s aviation industry continues to face a massive challenge, with struggling airports and airlines, as well as financial and administrative pitfalls that hinder expansion and development.

The U.S.-born 29-year-old has walked in runway shows for Prada and Louis Vuitton, while simultaneously developing seven phone apps – two of which have been picked up by Apple.

A self-proclaimed ‘nerd’, Ms Scott says that she defies many modeling stereotypes and has ‘definitely had a few agencies tell me I need to be cooler,’ she told PandoDaily.

That same year, she walked the Victoria’s Secret runway in the show’s PINK segment and was also cast in presentations by Prada and Louis Vuitton.

As her brother Matthew Scott told the site: ‘If I had to liken her to someone, I’d say she’s like Gisele Bundchen mixed with Bill Gates. I can’t imagine those two combined, but if they did, it would probably by Lyndsey.’

Ms Scott says that she is no stranger to her confounding position within the fashion and computer industries.

Rather than cross-promoting her life as a model while working as a programmer, and her programming work while she models, Ms Scott instead prefers to keep mum about her dual occupations.
